Following the unexpected success of my "cunt" post I've decided to showcase a good Scottish sweary word here every time I'm pished. which may or may not result in some people urging me to get professional help and possibly a few block buttons being tapped up... but i have a valid excuse for potential daily posts for a whole month from yesterday

So anyway... Fandan...

This isn't as versatile a word, nor is it as widely utilised as cunt but it is one of my fave Scottish words.

You're quite right... fandan is a bit jokey and affectionate.

But I'd like to hear from people that have been called a fandan in malice. There's got to be someone out there!

I actually used this word today for the 1st time in years! Leaving the house and the wind was wild and said to my mate, we've had storm/hurricane bawbag this must be storm/hurricane fandan

Can't see it being used in an aggressive manner though. It's like the female equivalent of boabie. Don't think anyone would be horribly offended if they were called a boabie?

I actually use both on a daily basis, alongside "tool"

these 3 words describe 99% of management in my work so I use them a lot. Usually addressed in the correct Scottish manner. That cunts a whalloper by the way
