No it's not you. E-stim is not really good for what you are trying to do. You never have the box switched on when you connect of disconnect and electrode or you get a painful jolt which is what you experienced when your cock touched her clit.

If you are using cock loops on your self use lots of conductive gel as otherwise you will feel hotspots that are uncomfortable.

When playing with your partner you can try putting a pad on the inside of her thighs as you have sex. Her contractions will feel great for both of you.

Made for play boxes are much better than TENS units as they are designed to work differently. A TESM unit produces currents and waveforms designed to deaden nerves which is why they are used for pain relief. Modern E-stim units are amazing.

When using cock loops, put the lower one around your cock and balls but insulate the top half of it with some insulating tape. Doing this forces the current to go through the dorsal nerve which runs down the top of the penis and then down through the perineal nerves for much better stimulation.

You will still feel most of the sensations at the top of your cock but the perineal nerves will help you cum much quicker.

Always use made for play e-stim boxes that carry the CE mark and if using one that uses a mains power adaptor ensure it is double insulated (look for the double box symbol on the back of it). Stay well away from cheap Chinese imports of products with dubious safety standards.
