I saw today that there are plans to remake Arachnophobia.

I’m deeply upset about this, not because I think they will do a bad job but because I’m still petrified of the tiniest spider since the first one!

Anyone else have objections to Hollywood remakes already done or just planned and why?

Maybe it’s an age thing but when I saw the first it terrified me, no doubt if I watched it now it would be gash.

Although I nice one to keep up my sleeve to scare my kids lol

But your right the remake will probably be poor cgi crap

Do you just hate flies when they are up?

I am an equal opportunity flyist - hate em all!!! (Though those horrible wee feckers that buzz yer ears are particularly ANNOYING)

I don't mind a remake done well, it gave us The Fly in the 80s and Cape Fear in the 90s, and sometimes you get something totally different like the recent Total Recall. Most just don't reach the heights of their predecessors, which is a shame as they do have potential to reach new audiences.
