Rant time!

First time posters, how irritating is it when you have a profile contact you who appear to be genuine and appear to have good intentions talking the talk for them to start shutting down all ties!! Frustrating as fuck!

Seems we may have to be a tad more selective on who we speak to

Don't know if I'd call that time wasting everyone is entitled to change their minds ....arranging a meet and not turning up without informing you I'd call a time waster

Manners cost nothing and if that’s the case we’d be more than ok with people changing minds if they say, but to ignored whilst organising meets it screams fantasists galore

The things folk class as timewasting baffles me.

it seems what is percieved as timewasting is anyone who dosnt do/say exactly what the user wants.

imo thats not a timewaster its a person on for their own wants and needs.

99% of the time any troubles or strife you have on this or any other site is of your own doing you chose the folk to interact with if its someone who gets off on talking about exploits stop talking about exploits..

My definition of a timewaster are the ones that don't read a profile, nor your meets and tell you what they want, but make it sound like they're doing you a favour.

I had meets up for this previous Friday and Saturday, and it's amazing how many people wanted to have it on a date better suited to them.

We appreciate everyone will have different things they want from FAB and for us we may have something different from others.

Our main “gripe” is those who actively make contact and let us down.

Our post wasn’t intended to bring any scrutiny to any individual or individuals and I hope that it doesn’t come across that way

We’re all here for a variety of reasons, some of which may to make friends and more

It's rife on here now with the biggest timewasters being couples,they demand everything from you to even get a sniff off a meet but give nothing in return,to suss out the timewasters now if a couple messages me asking for details, pic etc i return the message with a , you meesaged me so you send a pic then i will, when they don't reply thats the sign of a timewaster ......

It's always best to be selective.

There's a lot of people who are just up for chat and if they let you know this then that is fine so I wouldn't consider them timewasting.

There are plenty who want to meet and take it to a certain level, i.e. and arrange a meet but then back out because they feel nervous or unsure etc... It's not bad, its understandable cause meeting other swingers can be daunting. As long as they inform you in plenty of time then that's kl.

There are a lot of timewasters on fab, the same as keyboard warriors on these forums, just deal with it and not let them bother you. During your chats, exchange of messages, ask the right questions etc.. even video chat exchange will help to some extent.

People always use excuse not to phone but you'll eventually realise if they are wasting your time or not.

Even experienced swingers on here get them but usually doesn't really bother them as they know it happens.

For every timewaster you get it means when you find an genuine meet, it may turn out to be the perfect meet you'll ever have so always be positive and enjoy your time swinging

I spoke to someone last week who seemed OK originally but got more and more vague and it was obvious they were messing around. It seemed to be some kind of scam actually and the account disappeared the following day after being reported.
