Heading there tomorrow for a weekend, wondering if theres any tips on places to eat/bars to drink in/people to see?

Loads of nice bars and restaurants around George square n merchant city... really depends what your looking for

What do you want to see?

Ashton Lane for all the pretentious pricks and wannabes.

Merchant City for the people who aren't young enough or cool enough to even try to make the grade in Ashton Lane anymore.

City Centre if you want to watch some of the worst d*unks in Britain behave like there's an alcoholic and nuclear holocaust on the way.

I go to Hard Rock Cafe a lot. A bit pricey but I love the steaks, fajitas and burgers. Great drinks there too.
