Near the harbour

Ok I'm on the old e.cig 6days now but still struggle and have a proper cig with my morning and evening co fee .Have gone from 30a day to 5 but can't break the 5habit any tips that would help fellow smokers please

You could try tobacco flavoured liquid for your electronic cigarette.

Chewing some gum also helps, stronger flavours like Airways.

Nicotine withdrawal symptoms only last 2 weeks or so. If you decide to go cold turkey, you should be good after said period.

You can also increase your nicotine level. My withdrawal levels was like yours and its worst in the morning and the vape wouldn’t cut it.

So either get a more powerful vape for a stronger hit. Or increase the nicotine level for your morning hits then for the rest of the day go down. This worked for me.

I used to smoke 80 a day but quit 5 1/2 years ago by starting to vape.

Lived in Dubai and Cigs were around 60p a packet so even at 80 a day it was cheap.

You want to try and get a vape juice that tastes similar to what you have been smoking. I used to smoke Marlboro Menthols so I got something that tasted similar. The other thing is get a high nicotine level of around 18mg that will help you get over that morning coffee and food cig that always was th best one.

Over time start reducing the nicotine level. I still have some at 3mg but I have not touched a cig for 5 1/2 years.

Best go to a good vape shop and tell them you are quitting and they will help.

My Health improved drastically after just 2 weeks.

When I first started vaping I would have the odd cigarette but as you go along you will find that you are maybe only smoking half the cigarette and you will increasingly find the taste and smell of a real cigarette distasteful as your sense of smell and taste returns. Haven't had a real cigarette for over 7 years now.

Thats a cop out excuse saying i already have them so may as well smoke them , even if it is just 5 a day now. Dont get me wrong , your doing very well so keep it up . Its like a gambler saying he will stop after the 2019 grand national. Give those ciggies away or sell them or keep 3 more days worth but 400 ? Get shot of them bud. And good luck keep the will power going.

Thankyou for all the advice/comments folks yesterday was my Saturday so to speak with my shift pattern and had a day out with work mates I know it not seen much to some but never had 1cigarette even though I fell off the wagon with the drinking I'm pretty pleased with myself .Although this morning was absolutely craving a cigarette. D*unken me gave all mine away I couldn't have one ha .6MG juice is my best friend this morning to get over the craving ...sorry to say it again but after 29 years this is a strange but nice feeling to me so I'm going to high 5 myself .the hangover is best one I have ever had of th st makes sense and I like it

Smoke all your fags night before through ecig in the bin. Start the day as you mean to go on smoke free.

I've been off since November no problem.

It's easyer nowdays as your not allowed to smoke anywhere anyway

Stick to real cigarettes. E-cigs kill by blowing up and setting you on fire. Cancer seems a better way to go in my opinion

Different when you’re with someone that dies due to it. You couldn’t smoke after that.

Glad i don't smoke to be honest.The price of cigarettes these days are scandalous and to think they've done away with the old 10 deck also.I'm seeing more yonger ones smoking rollies.I always associated that with the old timers back in the day,a chick smoking rolly backy ain't cool man.Cutting about with big backy stained fingers lol.
