Ran London marathon 35 years ago

Realistic goal now is to keep as fit as I can by other means given recent injuries that meant I've had to give up running after 38 years

Get fitter. Been going to a boxing class twice a week for two months now, so I’m getting there.

To have a baby. Three miscarriages last year, but I’ve not given up.

And to stop caring so much about people who couldn’t give two shits about me.

Interesting that most of the comments are weight related.

What a shame that most people only see themselves as their size when there are so many other goals and focuses that people could concentrate on.

My list:

Get a better job than the current one;

Lower my handicap for golf;

Lose weight as I hate my belly.

My weightloss has nothing to do with how society views "fat/overweight people"...its for me-ive always been fat and at 35 years old i am damn well determined to have a flat stomach

However some of them are necessary directly related to weight but more to fitness.

To stop letting my fear of what other people think of me (or what I think other people think of me) getting in the way of me doing what I want to do.

And to lose 6 stone. But my love of antipasti, prosecco and butteries makes that goal nigh on unachievable
