Explore East Berlin. It's like stepping back in time. It was rebuilt by the Soviets after the war.

Bleak in places but it's like being in a cold war book or movie. You find little cafes and bars hidden in back streets. You can lose yourself as no one know you.

The West is more like any Western city.

Visit the DDR museum,Ramones museum, do the hop on/off bus tour,

It's a wonderful city, have a great time!

Last time I went was for New Year, it was so cold and with the dark nights we were limited for time during the day. I think visiting in the Spring or Summer is a better idea.

Aviemore and regularly visit Glasgow

Berlin is an amazing city. We would reccomend a bicycle tour with a company called fat tire, great way to get your bearings and tick off the big sights, they take you to a really cool beer garden in the park for lunch too.

If you fancy chilling out for a few hours liquidrom is worth a look. It's a spa with several saunas/steam rooms and a big salt water pool that plays music under the water. No clothes allowed in the sauna..

Absolutely no contest between the two! Berghain is the single greatest night on earth if your into your Techno. Long as your ok with waiting up to 4 hours for a potential kb its unbeatable.

Berlin is a great place to visit so much to do and see. The river cruises are worth a thought the architecture you see from them is awesome and a very pleasant way to spend an hour or so. Am not really a zoo person but really enjoyed going there. Great shopping too if that's your thing. Go off the main area if you want authentic food and beer. Transport system is excellent. Can you tell am definately going back

Great spas in Berlin , all naked. No ‘swinging’ there. Try insomnia in Berlin great club, all sorts of fun to be had. Enjoy.
