First club visit

So here we are, off to our first club event, both are scared/nervous/excited. Any tips for a) getting involved with other couples b) not getting involved with couples we're not interested in x

Just go with the general feeling. Be polite and try to read the mood as with any social situation. After 8 being a friendly place, there's nothing to really get nervous about. Just think of it as a pub, with the option for something to happen, but no obligation.

To get involved with someone, can either play it subtle, flirt and give hints but personally prefer if people are blatant "so you coming to the room?" etc.

As for not getting involved with folk you're unattracted to, again give hints but be cafeful not to hurt people's feelings or make it personal to them. Can always fib an excuse, unrelated to the fibres of their very being. (Unless they're a persistent nutter, then be more forthright) Unlikely to happen at this place however, people at After 8 are normally socially attuned, or wouldn't get in the place.

Good advice above

We see it is a night out for us. If something happens it happens. It doesn't it doesn't. Playing is an added bonus. The main part we still struggle with is that switch from social interaction to taking it upstairs lol. Doesn't stop us mind you Have a ball guys!

The rude ones don't seem to venture out to clubs. I've never come across any when I'm there anyway.

You never get a second chance to make a first impression....

Alternatively, just be yourselves, go with the flow and at the end of the day, it's not a school dance. It's adults with adult things on their minds.....possibly.
