Hi everyone, just hoping to find someone who travels or plans to travel from Glasgow Central to Edinburgh this Friday. I'm from Ireland and flew out of Glasgow last Friday. I stupidly left my sketch book on the train which was found and handed in to lost property. I plan to be in Edinburgh on Friday afternoon and if anyone plans to travel between the two who could collect it and meet me in the station or somewhere handy it would be hugely appreciated. Of course I'll pay for the "holding fee" they charge to release items back. They add 50p per day so by the time I'm in Glasgow again its just not worth me collecting.

They can but at the rate they charge to Ireland I'd be better off just buying a new one. Just hate to throw away my artwork and was working on something for the date I have Friday night in it. Nothing dirty though haha cause now I'm sure if anyone can help they'll sneak a peak

Surely if it means that much, a few pounds for postage isn't going to bother you?

Ah it's not that big a deal really if I don't get it back. Just thought I'd see if there was anyone who could. Not the end of the world if I don't get it

Glasgow

Contact Scotrail (or whatever theyre called these days). I left my purse on a train and it was handed to lost property in Edinburgh. I asked, and they passed it to a driver or conductor who took it through to Glasgow and I collected it from lost property at Queen Street Station.

Surely they can do this the other way round.

Would make sense to ask them if they can move it to lost property at Waverley.

thank you to everyone for the help and advice. myself and my book were reunited on Friday, and for anyone interested my date was a huge success. seeing her again soon, the sketchbook did have a part to play in the end but thats an in joke with far too much explaining to do behind it. but anyway thank you again and Happy Easter everyone
