Hey everyone. We are going to the SSE Hydro for a gig later this month. Looking for advice on what nearby hotels are good.

Thanks in advance!

The closer you are the more expensive they can be so personally I’d stick to travelodge or premier inn their prices stay relatively flat compared to some,

Check Citizen M, very cool hotel, but reasonably priced.

Somewhere nearby

The Village is close and pretty nice.

The Premier Inn is not too bad either (though if you are planning any Fab fun you need to meet them at the lift as you need a key to work it...... )

Village, Prem Inn, Hilton Garden Inn, Crowne Plaza, all next to it and good. Lorne Hotel in Finnieston is decent, short walk over the expressway and reasonably priced.

"Looking for advice on what nearby hotels are good."

Subjective query is subjective.

My mate and his wife stayed at the Crowne Plaza for their last concert there. There literally isn’t a handier place to stay.

For my last concert there, we stayed at a budget hotel 10 minutes away. An Ibis budget, I think. It was nice enough for what we paid. (In other words, it was clean.)

It depends on your budget and what you think is ‘good’.

Crowne Plaza is expensive but one of the better hotels

The Village is sadly getting run down and rooms need some refreshing

plenty hotels close by, but I would recommend the Crowne Plaza

All depends on budget and wether you’re planning on doing more than just the concert, if you’re planning on going shopping in town or out for lunch food making a few days of it one nearer town is better etc I don’t think there’s a hotel in Glasgow I have either stayed or shagged in at some point lol although less shagging and more sleeping

far far away

Premier Inn on Argyle Street. About a 10-15 minute walk to the Hydro and 5 mins from the city centre.

Paisley

Go on booking dot com and it should give the option to search for hotels near the hydro.

The Village, Crowne Plaza and Hilton Garden City are all lovely. Very clean and rooms are a decent size.
