Define "Professional"

Been pondering what defines "professional" lots of guys have professional in their profiles, but a professional "what" exactly? Footballer? Layabout? Wanker?

If the definition of "professional" falls down to just having a job then doesn't it lose some of it's meaning?

It is raised often, but not by the same people. I suppose it means different things to different people. In the Fab context I think it reflects the jobs that people are in and to a certain extent their general lifestyle.

I'd always presumed the difference between professional and amateur was that an amateur was unpaid. Given that this is a sex site i thought all 'professionals' were rent boys or ladies me the night, hence why my profile says i'm an amateur male. I do sex for free cos am a charitable bugger. No wonder some folk have blocked me after my 'how much for a..' emails!

I would say word of mouth but that sounds dodgy, so instead I will assume you provide a better and more thorough service than the city council - 2 weekly bin collections? The outrage!
