So lately I've been getting more and more ppl message me and then by the time I come back to reply the user is no longer on the site. I don't get why people are creating profiles only to delete them within a few hours or days, and is it just me thats noticing it? xx

It’s a very common thing on here, it happens for many reasons. Sometimes it’s nothing to do with you it’s other “stuff”, sometimes it’s cold feet, it’s just people and all their intrinsic complexities, we all have em... if they come back, you may or may not know... just ponder (briefly) or not and move on..

Came close a few times doing the exact same. Got so fed up with the time wasters and people taking me for an idiot I wanted to delete my entire account. These moments of self pity won't last though. Ended up hiding my profile for a few days, so not lost all my friends and veris thankfully

A lot leave because, they are married and might get caught or join out of curiosity and check the site out and say, feck that. Some profiles might have been deleted because they were doing something naughty between messaging you and when you got to read it.

Had a friend message me to say she had another cancellation and then she told me the person had only been on a week with no verifications. You cannot expect anything else.

Its hard to trust anyone on here, there are liars, married but playing away and fakers, so girls are going to get a lot of mail just don't bother if they leave and during chat, get a feel of them and if theres any doubt just bin.

I'm a guy, well I was yesterday, but if I get a hint of any hassle, lying, drama or fake then I drop like a dead donkey and don't give it a consideration. Even chatting to girls, exchanging messages but every time we message they delete all mail after so it makes you think, do they have a partner that they think might get wind of their messages.

With experienced people on here, spontaneous is moving to a thing of the past as we don't trust no one, Ok, well I'm talking on behalf of myself.

Worse ones I think are , new profiles that appear then some usally a guy veris them saying I meet this stunner way back last year or many moons, and guess what profile gone after few hours or days , do people just create profiles to see if ex’s are still on etc, Don’t think you should be able to get veried straight after joining just saying

Need to say, its not just some newbies who disappear when they message you as well, experienced ones can disappear as well. So felt my post was too hard on newbies when most maybe genuine

I think this was mentioned on the fabswingers site forum as an idea which it is a good one as veris can be used for other means than to verify as genuine

To be fair Peter, I delete messages all the time. Just because the volume of them annoys me and I don't get many!

If my partner finds my account it wouldn't matter whether there were messages or not

My post was more summed at the people whyvare constantly on and off I get sometimes people get fed and up and delete and then return I mean I myself have done it. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I have conveniently forgotten about the hide profile feature! It's more the people who create profile. Message. Delete and continue doing so. I guess looking at it in a way some of you have said there is reasoning behind it but why message someone if you don't intend on staying on the site long enough to let them reply?!

I think cold feet has a lot to do with it.

It's easy to just delete.

Maybe they get a kick out of actually messaging and then panic?

If it's half way through a conversation then they prob deleted as their partner could have found out OR they we chatting to someone else who might have been nasty n they thought site was not for them.

I don't see it as a big deal just learn from them.

I get that I suppose I will never know. I guess I'm just to easily irritated haha. Thanks for the insight
