Hotel room for sale

Hey ladies and gentleman. I have a hotel room booked for the Rennie MacIntosh hotel in Glasgow city centre. But due to unforeseen circumstances I am unable to use it now, but it’s too late to cancel without having to pay for it.

So looking to see if anyone would take on the booking, the price is £43 bang on. Mail if interested and I can forward you all the details

Tomorrow. 9th February - 10th February

Last minute thing happened which means we can’t use it but it’s too late to cancel wothnout having to pay for the room

Im sure the OP asked for someone to "take on" the booking on first post, which would mean changing over details with the hotel

if they won't accept a cancellation then I doubt they would do a change over!

?? Agree and if that's the hotel policy of cancellation and knowing if there are others nearby that you can cancel on the day then I know what I'd choose next time.

Best to leave it OP

But if yiu get it covered and no comebacks then brill

I had until the 6th to cancel for free. But family matters occurred yesterday so I missed the cut off to cancel for free. So if I cancel I still have to pay £43. And I’m no keen losing nearly £50 for nothing lol

Why not phone hotel and say u have family probe and be really nice on the phone u never know they might be in a good mood

If your gonna lose it anyway why not give the room to someone for free. Just phone the hotel and say it was a gift and the guest names are ********. The hotel will take their details on arrival

Contacted the hotel and they are refusing to cancel without full payment. So it’s still up for grabs if anyone is interested

Of course you would so offer it for £20 you might get a taker. Better 20 than nothing. Ps we have plans so not fishing for a cheap overnight. Nice to be nice and everyone a winner .

You could offer the room to one of the many poor n freezing homeless that currently sleep on our streets....that would be a nice gesture
