Aviemore and regularly visit Glasgow

Anyone heading to any weird and wonderful festivals this year?

Booked for Belladrum as usual but fancy something else too, preferably relatively small and quirky.

Just booked tickets for Nile Rogers and Chic at the Lytham Festival in July

Only 5 miles from infusions should be a great weekend

The lunar festival is definitely quirky. I went to the first one a few years ago I guess it might have grown a bit.

Have always fancied Lunar! They have the ethos that they don't want to get too big which is something I value in a festival. The likes of Rockness and T in the park etc definitely suffered from their hunger to continually expand.

We are going to Eden festival this year in June it’s small and very quirky. I’d recommend it.

Went a few years ago and toying with the idea of going again. Just seen the lineup too, shoogle, peatbogs and elephant sessions all on the same bill is pretty awesome!

Do they still have the nude sauna down by the river through the trees?

Yeah I’ve been a few times. I’ve always enjoyed it. I didn’t know about the nude suana but that all seems plausible. I do love the slightly hippy aspect to it. If your going let me know as I’m sure you would have a good laugh. I’ve always fancied meeting someone there. Thanks

Def agree with that, I did every single t and it's demise was inevitable, skye festival is brilliant

Yep I did the first T's before it moved, it was always going to go downhill from there. Lunar was brilliant though, I took my kid to his first festival he was so chuffed cos he got to meet donovan. And asked him what an 'electrical banana' was

Being with the kid I missed out on the nightlife but it did look amazing. And when they burned the pyre at the end with a trumpet band dancing round it, was just surreal! Quirky indeed
