It’s tough but great for weight loss and fitness.

The saddle can hurt your foo-foo initially but it’ll toughen up after a few sessions.

A good form of exercise. The good thing is you can adjust how hard u work because you control the resistance. Give it a go. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

I went to a spin class years ago with S thinking this will be easy.

I didn't have time to have a heart attack.

Go for a 30 or 45 minute session initially, the hour can be too long if new, take plenty of water, WEAR PADDED SHORTS, other than that enjoy

I'm at PT and spin instructor. All the above advice is great. First couple times you will deffo have a sore butt and lots of water is a must. Classes are a great way to start getting into fitness rather than feeling lost on the gym floor. Best of luck

I used to teach spin classes. I actually just bought a new spin bike last week.

Great way to get fit

Great way to keep fit and to promote fitness as Scotland is the second most obese country in Europe. Go and enjoy and maybe other people will follow you!

Brilliant way to get into gym routine, improve fitness and lose weight (I've love 11lbs so fat this year with spin and sensible diet)

All above is great advice, only thing id add is make sure you get the saddle and handlebars at the correct height (the pt will help if you need)

I tried this years ago and not for me simply because at 5 feet my legs struggled to reach the pedals comfortably but I’m sure they have got this sorted now !

Very popular way to get fit - enjoy!

Any decent instructor should always check if there is anyone new in class and offer to help with set up and let you know what to expect

I love the body pump too much of a woose to try the spin class. Just been to yoga and have to say I loved that - feel all chilled and relaxed now
