Has anyone been to a swingers club and met someone there they knew not from the swinging scene?

This puts me off attending one!

Aren't you both there for the same reason though?....

I’ve put off for a long time for that reason, went along and nope, just really good night, but like R says above, you are both there for the same reason, what are they going to say

That’s what puts us off attending too.

Though we are taking the plunge and going to our first big social soon but we’re both wearing beards and dark glasses so no one recognises is

You might even meet someone you like but have never done anything about it

Why not think about attending a social event first?

To be fair you could’ve bumped into your neighbour at CJs there and you wouldn’t have known

I wouldn't worry as there is no shame in swinging and everyone is there for the same thing

brilliant

It's a thought isn't it,

but unless it was someone you really didn't like it would be quite funny

So you can only go to a swingers club and count yourself as a swinger if you're on Fab op?

I met someone I know from my everyday life in cjs.

I wasn’t bothered, was nice to meet her out, in a social situation.

I’ve met friends neighbours and work colleagues at social events etc was probably more awkward for them as couples than me as a single female and because my profile is more private and they had lots on show, but at the end of the day if you can’t respect other people’s life choices and maintain confidentiality you really really shouldn’t be on here in my opinion

As this is not the main part of our life and is something that we indulge in a few times a year we don’t mind traveling for some fun

So we visit clubs down south. Makes a weekend of it and less likely to bump into the neighbours

Funnily enough we've all became good friends now and that's because it was a shock and such a laugh.... we actually laughed about it for days...... not awkward just funny
