I was at my sisters house and my niece patched and was patched.

WTF is patched.... turns out it’s not texting back ... lol

It just means they have something better.

Supposed to meet them at the pub and they don't show - that's patched

text them a message, question, they read it but don't bother replying - that's patched

many situations but really they don't bother and decide to do something else like sit on the setae and drink than reply

happy new year to everyone who gets patched in some way, I'm sure it will get better for you

Except over a certain age you aren't allowed to use the term ..... a bit like not being allowed Snapchat and Instagram

Oh & only just found out that 'pics' means naughty photos sent via Snapchat, for example

Said teenager in household told me yesterday I am an embarrassment and that I need to learn how to use urban dictionary to learn how to speak and funnyly enough the conversation was about pulling and the birds and the bees ....I seemingly have no idea ....oh how I laugh

Pretty much this. But also if you are meant to do something, but either don't or can't be bothered.

I need to go shopping but I'll just patch it, for example.

Ah the joys of teens. I find myself using their terms more than I should
