Definitely not, yeah it’s nice to get mail no doubt about it especially that’s not from other single guys looking to convert you!

Thing with fab is that I’m no Armani model but some on here seem to think they are something special. Let’s face it some guys have no standards what so ever so some females, not the majority thankfully think they are something where as in reality they wouldn’t get a second glance in real life!

Fab should be all about the fun, some take it way too seriously and yeah it can be an ego boost at times.

I try and reply to everyone but don’t meet from fab I only attend clubs and socials, I find when I reply to most they do have an expectation of meeting even although I clearly say on my profile I don’t and I usually let them know on the first reply that I don’t mind chatting but won’t be meeting but they still try x

Good to get a reply, and yes it's good to get noticed but it does not mean we want sex stright away some connection lust chat is the key. If it does come to a meet then it will be relaxed fun and thrilling we all got to be safe when meting people for the 1st time and thank good for verifications. X

Very interesting to read the replies guys. It’s a weird one. Half the time I think most of the guys here are just a massive walking dick on wheels, cos a lot of the messages I get are simply “wanna fuck”?

Obviously an attraction is a massive thing, but see if you guys take some time, compose a half decent(ORIGINAL) message, and perhaps leave out the dick pic, I think most people would get further on this site. Without tarnishing everyone with the same brush, a lot of guys seem to think this is just a free escorting site, and you are obliged to meet cos you are active.

Similar thread kicked off a few days ago in the Irish Forum. I think the "all women have inflated egos and you're ugly as sin in real life" type comments don't help anybody.

I've mailed quite a few mem first, if they've posted something funny or interesting in the forums. Even tried to message one on this thread but because I'm not a site supporter I can't ( not naming names!)

I don't think I'm above anybody and if you're respectful and have some banter I'm happy to chat. Doesn't guarantee a fuck though.

Everybody gets a wee tummy flutter after a flirt or if they think someone fancies them and if you say you don't, you're telling porkies in my opinion....

I was spoiled when i joined...

Posted for a roleplay meet, messaged a lady with a status looking to fulfil a fantasy, met the next day and carried out said fantasy....

So i was left thinking that the place was ripe for the picking... So wrong...

I made my profile a bit mental, messaged the world, and probably pissed off every other woman on the site within a certain distance.

I never expect a reply now, and i usually send a decent first message in the hope that i do get a reply. I never expect a meet though, but have had a few socials and more..

I had one social where the lady just cut contact without saying anything else after the meet. Just a wee 'sorry but your not my type' would be appreciated.

All in all, its a learning curve...

All in all I think most of the previous posts have covered this, my 2p is aye you do get a wee bit of a buzz when you get a message, even better when the lady makes the first contact but it does not mean I think I'm going to be playing hide the sausage with her

The one thing I will admit to is I often joke about meets (social only) and getting a coffee to the point I think I cross a wee line. No offence is ever meant but sometimes you do gauge someone wrong in messages on here.

Mind you anyone that know's me will say I need a bloody neon sign to let me know a woman likes me so I'm hopeless anyway lol

I'm fortunate in that I receive a reply most of the time. While it's always pleasant, particularly if I really fancy her, i've found that the best attitude to have is no real expectations. I'm good at flirting, so I start there and see where it leads.

I have been on here on and off as a single guy profile and a couple , the no expectation replies like above were non existant from my experience and nobody is going to admit they think you are going to fuck them lol not saying anyone is lying but look at the forum posts from guys about how they have joined and they demand someone meets them , i have seen the abuse women get sent aswell , the many faces of some people on here , you have to be careful as being anonymous brings out the worst in people

After taking the time to read profile in full then decide whether I may be of interest, before sending that all important first message, yes it’s nive to get a reply, an open and delete is deflating but it’s part of the game on here,

In short you have to understand your not for everyone and by no means does a reply mean a meet.

if someone has taken the time to look at another's profile and then write an email to them it is polite to reply but due to the amount of assholes on the site that blitz mail alot of the folk that are receiving the mails just bulk delete the genuine ones that get caught in the crossfire.

Some of us do read profiles and try to tailor our message to that profile but can be difficult with "single woman aged xx looking to meet straight men" or "will fill in later"

I try my best to reply to all messages just to be polite and I know it must be super frustrating for guys on here, if they send a cock pic it’s instant block, if their profile pic is a cock pic I’ll view profile and see how many other pics etc are similar see how full on any verifications are then choose wether to reply or delete, if it’s a decent message and face pic I always reply but I never expect face pics I’d be a hypocrite if I did as I don’t share pics !!

My personal preference is less is more in pics, profile and verifications it gives something to look forward to, nothing worse than an unwrapped present everyone else has seen before you ! Where’s the fun in unwrapping a surprise

No I do not. It"s not a bad thing but I do sit up and take notice and feel quite privileged they someone has taken time to contact me and I always try to reply.

Even in reply, I'm not expecting anything, always just go with the flow, read the profile who sent me a message and if there's anything extra I would like to share in my message then I do so.

Even if they do not read the reply, I honestly don't worry. I know that single females and couples are inundated with messages so they are hard pressed looking to find the message or reply that interests them.

We are all here, hopefully for no drama, no hassle fun , here is to that

The reason why i asked this question was because females get slated for not replying but also i got accused of leading someone on by replying. I was only being polite and answering some questions but when he eventually got round to asking me to meet he was pissed off when i politely said no . Now it puts me off chatting and answering messages.

Really.. hes the one with the problem.:-/ But net dating / chat is an enigma. You end up chatting about the most private stuff usually pretty quick and yet you've never met the person! .. Its a bit of a mind fuck!

occasionally a message gets responded to .. many politely declining .. but even if someone responds - there’s no expectation - not seen as a “come on” - just good if there’s some spark or connection or banter - but u learn to limit any expectations - even tho there’s been a few rapid exchange messages - seeking to turn each other on (or more ; )) .. but needs to be more humour & banter .. always surprised when it’s not an outright no!!!

Always nice to get a reply and even better if it leads to longer chats and getting to know a fellow fabber a little better, but I never have any expectations. I certainly wouldn't describe it as excitement. I still chat with ladies who've made it clear they don't want to meet - it's more banter around the shared experience of fab. When they said no I certainly didn't take it personally or think they've been leading me on. Everyone has the right to decide who they want to meet afterall.

Reading some of the more recent posts on this thread they just illustrate some of the immature attitudes of some on fab I guess.

Who cares. I'm not that insecure that I need a reply. People won't reply for a host of reasons. It's subjective and how you feel about yourself. If youre confident then it makes no difference either way. If you're needy then you'll need the confirmation of existence or of your sexual attractiveness. You might remind that person of their brother uncle aunt cousin asshole teacher at school a creep whatever. No reply move on to the next profile we're all here for the same reason. Don't think it was condescending

I get that I really do get why your asking BUT

You will get different varied replies and they won't be the same because of guys wide spectrum of views and attitude.

I'm honest on my profile and in chat and in person and if I get a message it's really a great feeling but I'm always respectful back and I will never push or expect anything to come from the message. Does this attitude fuck me up for meets, hell yeah and that person might go off and fuck the hell out of someone else but still know that I'm genuine and still about. Everything I do and say gives a small taste of what can be expected and an idea of connection that will leave you desiring more
