Are they good or do they get overlooked?

What do you do if you have been winked?

If I wink at someone it’s to let them know I like what I see.

Pretty much over looked by me I'm afraid. I find it hard enough to keep up with responding to messages without acknowledging winks too. I'm also never sure if you respond with a wink or a message? On the odd time I have responded by thanking for the wink, it's not always reciprocated.

I’m never sure if a wink just means like your pics or nice profile or I’m interested in meeting so I pretty much ignore which is a shame as lots of lovely folk have winked x

Usually send a wink to initiate first contact. Saves typing out a message to go unread or deleted. Similarly I get a wink and open dialogue in response.

I tend not to look at mine...just forget about them. If I like the look of someone I'll fab a pic and message them.

I can understand ladies / couples get bombarded with mail so a wink would be a good way of saying, I like what I see.

I generally ignore them. Most are from people who have clearly not read your profile...

even better is the wink from a blank profile, what are you meant to do there?..

What gets Me is the folk that wink and actually perk your interest enough to wink back, returning a wink to me is an "aye ok, could be interested, message me then"... and then nothing....

a few weeks later the winks from same person starts again...

Usually look at profile and if I like what I see I will message if I get a wink ,

Like everything on here it's a tool that guys will use more than woman .

Let's be frank a woman doesn't need to do anything on here to get inundated , regardless of looks or anything else , look at some of the horror shows and the amount of meets they get from the desperados on here , most guys would fuck a cut in a tramps forehead

In our case where we clearly state no winks and giving what our profile says we ignore or Block as we see it as Lazy and disrespectful to us as we are clearly stating we don't except winks! We really can be any clearer than that But how many guys read a profile anyway?

I prefer winks to messages these days. To me winks show someone has noticed you. If someone winks at me who i like i will message them. Far less time consuming than answering loads of messages. I also dont feel as bad if i dont respond to a wink whereas i do with a message.

When we receive a wink, we will have a look and see if the profile is of interest, if it is we will wink back looking to chat. Some times we message first but prefer to be messaged. If we give someone a wink it is because we would like to see if you are interested in chatting too us.

If I wink at someone then it's because I enjoyed their profile and I'm very much interested in them.

I even state that on my profile so they can decide to wink back or message or not bother.

Yes agreed but as guys don't get that many messages we have the time to reply. Females n couples however are usually inundated with messages so I don't worry if they don't reciprocate

We have a look and see who's winked us, then we delete people that don't fit our preferences and have a better look at those that do.

Only if we have time though otherwise it's overlooked.

I always reply to a wink saying thankyou and yes I would like to chat or no thankyou I grateful for your wink but your not what I looking for on fab but it's appreciated you took time to look at my profile ,it same why I send winks I would hope person responds one way or other but take no response as a no thankyou

LOL Lets face it how many guys are going to get winks from single females or couples! so 90% winks are from guys! Now what people are NOT realizing is if it clearly says we do not except winks in out profile then why sent a wink? yet guys in here seem to think its ok! That's the problem with this site.

definately my female friends here get a ton of messages too. They are often polite and thank ppl for winking. Some ppl are a bit rude and full of themselves if things don't go their way too.
