Has anyone ever made massive mistake in meeting wrong person all was fine phone contact meeting then all changed kind of makes me sick

We had a dodgy meet like that. Part of Fab life. Turn it into a positive though. Use it as a funny story next time your chatting to people , the great escape type story. Unless of course it went really really bad then you could use it as a warning to other females. Hopefully it was only the fomer. Dont lose faith in Fab though, lots of genuine nice guys on here , just need to adjust your criteria a little .

Yep. Bad enough for me to come off online dating. But after a few months signed back up, because I decided not to let one arsehole ruin my fun. And it is mostly brilliant fun.

Oh dear.

I’ve had my fair share of bad meets from guy not looking like their pics or the ones that are rude and cocky and even the ones that are all over you like a rash!

The good thing is I ALWAYS meet socially first so I can say ‘no thanks’ and walk away.

My safety is paramount.

Don’t let it put you off.

Always do a social meet that way you know exactly what the persob is like before meeting

Talked on fone for meeting at 10pm all was fine met up in hotel and the guy was full of drink and I said sorry no due to the amount he had drank then he started shouting swareing at me calling me f,,,kin time waster making a complete idiot's of him self and really embarising my self the whole hotel corador must of herd will only make sure I know people I can trust and feel safe with my fault for picking non verified males

That sounds awful, sorry that happened.

I think meeting well verified people is the safest way to go. I was put off for a while from a bad meet and since then I mainly stick to meeting folk i've already met and going to cjs now and again. It's a shame but just makes life easier.

Always do a social meet first but this type of thing can happen with anyone not just non verified

Went to a guys house that i had met previously at mine...big mistake...it was horrible dirty dishes in the sink and rubish laying everywhere...said i wasnt feeling well and left.the thought of it still makes me sick!!

just use your common sense and stay safe. i had a bad meet earlier this year with somebody i had met many times previously and was well verified.

knocked me for six and i have only just starting to chat on here again after 8 months. i let my guard down
