Scotland forum... what do you get from It?

Just wondering what people get or want from the forum

We have only been coming on to the forum for a couple of months. We tend to look at posts that interest us and skip by the ones that don't... our personal preference are posts about clubs that we go to so that we can have banter with others who are going etc but that seems to have caused an issue on another thread that complained of too many club posts personally I think it would be a shame to lose them from the page.... bearing in mind it's not the club who are posting it's us fabbers just asking who's going

Anyway I diverse....

What does everyone like or not like about the Scotland forum page?

Agree generally only use to see who’s going to club nights....the general stream of “fanny farts!” “Fuck, blow or kiss” and “wank club” type threads are just boring tripe imo!

Hopefully this will make sense

What I like or don't like is irrelevant.

The way I see it, this is a public forum and as such I understand and welcome that there will be subjects to my taste and others not to my taste, opinions I agree with and others I will not.

Similar as when I buy a newspaper or a magazine. I know there will be articles I will not agree with but I will still enjoy the rest!

So, as far as am concerned, keep posting what you want, when you want, as many times as you want, it is your prerogative.

I will keep my prerogative to roll my eyes, comment, post, giggle, block/use as a filter, etc...

And I will add that there has been the odd subjects that I had not thought about and been raised on the forum have given me food for thought in one way or another.

So, am happy for people to have freedom of speech!

I read different forums not just the Scotland forum. I’ve given advice and received advice.

Some of the posts are interesting and informative and in some cases thought provoking too.

I don’t like people trolling or hijacking posts or being negative on a post that doesn’t interest them.

I like the variety of topics too. Just a shame that it’s the same people a lot of the time on here though.

Over there

I visit a few forums, this one as it's where I live and *maybe* it will help lead to a meet.

That said, I am increasingly being bored/disinterested by some of the threads.

The best ones for me are actually the club posts. Good to know who'll be coming if I'm planning a night out x

I like browsing the forum, occasionally post and sometimes open a thread if I think others will be interested.

I just skip threads I'm not interested in which is the norm for all forums.

Be definition, forums are what we make them. Anyone who finds it all dull and boring but never opens any threads of their own should think about doing so.

Everyone to their own.. Iv found the forum interesting over the last few months cause club members new and old are commenting so I can chat, introduce myself before going along to meet new members. I know not everyone goes along to clubs or socials so this won’t interest them but then I’m not interested in politics, kiss-fuck-avoid or face pic Friday so I sometimes skip past these so every topic isn’t going to be of interest to everyone. Iv noticed loads of new people, single and couples via the forum over the last few months as well so maybe that’s why topics are clubs and socials maybe that’s why they joined ... the forum is for fab members to chat about what interests them.. so everyone is free to raise any topic they want as long as it isn’t detrimental to fab

Topics are varied in here, which is the way it should be. For us Club posts yes now and then , face pic friday never, sad posts sometimes, question try and help. Posts i will always try to get involved in is topics where an OP has said something thats thier personal opinion or thier own personal fantasy or where they would like to go etc and they get destroyed by other Fab members by thier HIGHER moral standards. Lots of the forums these days seem to thrive on negativity when in reality if you dont like what the thread is about its sometimes better not to comment and move on to a topic that suits. We have no interest in face pic Fridays or the huge social meet threads that come and go but lots and lots of Fabbers do , so these people should be allowed to post freely what they enjoy likewise people who post and attend clubs. Sometimes people should stop and ask themselves first before posting " am i better to say nothing and move on as opposed stick a negative comment on something of no interest to me. ". I remember a couple had a fantasy of paying for an escort for a bit of naughty fun, instead of other fabbers simply saying "not to our taste but good luck" some people responded by saying things like " good luck with meeting those drugged up , diseased riddled prostitutes" .wtf. If we keep the posts supporting and possitive and then the Scotland forum could be the best on Fab .

Merry xmas guys

I could be wrong but i think the moaning/ complaining / observation regarding the clubs posts was the amount of club posts on the first pages. I think a few people musta thought some people were trying to start another club post just to advertise it. it doesn't bother me to be honest as it is a forum but I definitely skip by ay post about a club, doesn't interest me so I dont bother but I wouldn't complain if there's post on the forums, that's what a forum is about, whatever you want or interests you.

Sometimes there is interesting subjects that interest me, sometimes im in a giggle mood and see a post and put, what I like to think is a funny, sure only a few dot get it

.

Just anything really, that's fumy, or interesting or that stimulates / peeks my interest

Anyway, here's the best to a better, more wider scoped forums for us all to take something from it

hope you all have a great Xmas and have a fantastic new year

Exactly and guilty wanks will only interest those who have a guilty wank so let people post what they are interested in and we can all pick and choose the threads we go on.... seems simple enough.... hopefully the forum can become a place were we can all enjoy frequenting

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

The forums can be fun as many have said post what you want as long as its within site rules.

Who cares if there have been a million posts on the same topic before perhaps some of the posters havent been on long therfore would have no idea its been posted before .

The main thing in my opinion regarding the forums are those who are in feudes with other mebers and Instead of ignoring them and passing them by they feel the need to pass comment and make personal digs which spoils it for everyone not just those their comnents were itended for.

Keep it fun its why we're here after all.

I find the forums very useful for also seeing what someone's personality is really like, which you can't always tell in a message.

There are some people on here who thrive on negativity, they like to stir things or look down on everyone else because they think they're superior to everyone else. In that respect the forums are useful to know who to avoid

I find the forums somewhat amusing at times, cringeworthy at other times and sometimes it’s downright hilarious.

And I comment when I feel like it.
