Hey fabbers new to all this and looking for some help or how to get started.

Split up from my ex about 18 months ago and find it hard to get out and socialise as I’m a single dad.

Finding it difficult recently as I’ve been feeling pretty lonely.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Think most people feel like that at some point, so you're not the only one. Although it might feel like that.

Time of year doesn't help either. Can't really give you advice or tell you what to do, since it'll be different for anyone. Just try to get out and see people when you can, or visit your family. Sitting at home will definitely not work.

Hope you feel better soon x

Don’t know how young your kid(s) is but focus on giving them a lovely Christmas. Try catch up with mates over the festive period too.

And don’t think of this place as indicative of society. It’s very hard for single males on here so don’t be down if you don’t manage to meet anyone from here etc.

Totally agree. Definitely don't rely on fab to get you out of this state of mind. But don't give up on this site either. It can be good fun on here and a welcome distraction. Just don't take it too seriously and expect nothing x
