Verifications - Can you win?

I've had two conversations recently with two ladies with differing views regarding verifications - One lady said that she would only meet a guy who had lots af verifications and one lady said she wouldn't meet a guy with more than one or two.....!!!!!

So, the question is ; to show all your verifications or not??

me personally..i wouldnt meet a guy with none? Wouldnt bother me if he had loads either?says hes popular if anything? Wonder if the chick had loads of veris tho?double standards if she has?veris stand for nothing as u only get good 1s so i only see them as verification that the person is who they say. Ps that dosnt count for cam 1s or phone 1s tho lol. Auds x

Cant uderstand the 'have been verified too much' thing myself.... cos at the end of the day, a profile with 2 or 3 verifications showing, could of 1000's hidden and people would be none the wiser.

Maybe just show the most recent, or ones that arent too graphic. Graphic veri's can put some people off too.

Been blocked/sent to coventry,by someone who decided i both had "too many" and therefore my not chatting to them frequently enough was related to how many veri's i had and therefore me daring to chat to them was deemed to be me having " a nerve" to dare chat to them after not having chatted to them for a time,, marvelous.

It's hard enough for single guys on this site, with all the hostility and prejudice. But it's harder when we get people saying they won't meet us without a verification but find that nobody will give us a verification because they haven't met us !! Single men can't win here.

I've even seen profiles of couples who also have single profiles, where the couple-profile is "verified" by one or both of the singles, - ie they "verify" themselves ! - Very clever, but a gross misuse of the system. Admin should get wise to this.

In any case, one can get verified and then proceed to change one's profile radically, so what does the verification really prove ? People change marital status but keep their (obsolete) verification. Others change their sexuality, or their accommodation position, but don't bother to update their profile to say so; - yet retain their out-of-date verification. I think the whole thing is used to con people, and is not fit for purpose.

well i have been on a month with nothing yet - i no its going to get harder for me being single an live alone - so how do i prove myself - well socials is ok if you get to one - but some are not a fan of socials, it is really hard for myself - but I plug in and keep at it and hope for the best

I dont like reading a blow by blow account of what went on. Just does nothing for me. Would rather read - 'met this guy. Lovely genuine gentleman', rather than 'got ridden in all the rooms and woke all the neightbours up'

So it comes down to choice. What works for some, doesnt work for others.

Verifications in person do count to us, only that you have had them, we don't really care what has went on or how many

We had 4 couples verify us by meets, but they have all left the site now( maybe we are scary)

We are only left with a single male verification (that we want to show). You never know how many meets peeps have had on here due to things.

Its upto each individual and what they want, and what ticks there boxes.
