Hey folks.

We Spent two days chatting to what seemed a nice genuine sexy Cpl. They had a good few verifications from what looked to be attractive couples. Face pictures were exchanged and even a chat on the phone to see everyone was happy.

The time arrives and were both excited with the butterfly's going ten to the dozen. Bottle of bubbly under arm and off we head in the taxi. £16.80 later we arrive at the address. A quick call and we're told the house number.

In we go and proceed up the stairs to be greeted by the man.

Firstly the picture he sent must have been a good ten years ago!! once over the threshold the door was locked behind us!! Fellow fabbers don't do this!! It's an unnerving experience.

Anyway we're escorted to the living room where we expect to see his partner. Nope no signs!!!

I politely ask where she is and we're told she is into dark rooms and doesn't like her face to be seen.

So we're getting a little pissed off by this stage but remain calm. The chap then ushers us through the corridor to the bedroom where we can vaguely make out a body laying on the bed that begins to talk. It's at this point I'm thinking right what's the best way to exit this situation. The guy has the keys in his pocket. His lady is clearly d*unk or drugged up. Nightmare!!!!

Cut a long story short we managed to escape!!!

Fellow fabbers please be aware that no matter what lengths we all go to to try and satisfy ourself it's genuine and safe it's not always the case.

Sick to the stomach is how we feel

It will be public area initial meets for us from now on until we're totally sure.

Oh my goodness that sounds horrible! Guess the saving grace is that you two were together, imagine turning up to that situation alone! So disappointing also. Hope it doesn’t put you guys off too much but unfortunately some people on here can make you feel wary forever more.

Sorry it wasn’t the meet it was meant to be, Glad you found an escape route too!

In all seriousness it sounds like a disturbing experience. Let it serve as a warning to all those who moan when socials are insisted upon that this isn't a dating site etc. Safety and security is paramount!!

Taxi meters in Glasgow tend to go up in 20p increments so there's actually nothing remotely unbelievable about £16.80.

Freaky story!

Glad you're both fine.

Experience like this, brings you back to reality and... You can now change your approach to meet.

That's why some guys get exasperated with me!

But I need to get a feel for the person and I can't achieve that in a couple days on/off chat on Fab.

I meet for a social to see if chemistry.

If I get given an address, I require the full address, am not farfing about waiting for a number, I hate treasure hunts.

"Hey folks.

It will be public area initial meets for us from now on until we're totally sure.

so when you say you escaped OP you mean you asked him to let you out. Or the door was likely never locked in the first place. And I've yet to ever see a taxi charge to a specific penny! "

Plenty taxis charges go up in 10p or 20p as they drive when on a meter. Even my local private taxis don’t round up their fares.

Sorry I’m a super curious person. Apologies in advance, just my nature.

Desperate to know x

Thats a horrible scenario, meets should be open and transparent about what to expect on a meet.

Some people use drink and drugs

Some people like darkroom fun

However when inviting others to join in the rules should be established, im sorry for your experience.
