A thing called love

He had a great rich voice and a sad miss to the music world when he passed away. I enjoyed the film about him too

"Hurt was a master piece "

Hurt isn't actually his song but it is very fitting to his life. Nine inch nails done it first. And personally cash done it way better!

Ring of fire i was on a trip to the grand national and we all had our phone ring tones on that song and now and again in a pub we would all set them off at the same time. Great fun .love the song and the intro.

Jackson is a personal favourite but Walk the line and Folsom prison blues are his best songs, they're loved by everyone.

I once heard a couple have Jackson played on Steve Shite's show as their love song. Obviously never listened to anything beyond the first line. ??

'Hurt' obviously but everyone will say that so to be a bit more original, I love 'Guess Things Happen That Way' from the early Sun recordings and 'Don't Take Your Guns To Town' has always been a favourite.

Also his cover of Steve Earle's 'Devils Right Hand' is even better than the original in my opinion and I'm a big Steve Earle fan. Finally for a bit of soppiness 'Meet Me In Heaven' from American II.
