Right you lot, to help me prepare for my GS run I’m proposing that my training to get naked in public and get fit enough to run all the way round the square should focus around a few lengths of the pool, who wants to come with me and hold my towel

A fab Sunday night social in Arlington, great idea eh?

No, not a great idea at all.

Somehow I don't think the people who enjoy this event every week would be very happy with it being invaded by swingers.

The naked swim at Arlington baths is absolutely not a sexual event.

It is mixed bathing, can vary in terms of numbers, sure you would enjoy

Have sauna etc too

as said above the arlington is a nude swim very relaxed with steam room and saunas. it is not a swingers event but im sure there a few folk that go that are it just never comes up in conversation ( that would be rude). if you have never been then you will need to bring some form of ID and fill out a membership form then you would be shown around . as for numbers it can get busy on some nights but that adds to the conversation as there are folk from all over scotland and further afield come to it if anyone has any questions send me an email and ill try and answer them form a normal members point of view

Might sound a bit paranoid but I really think we shouldn't be mentioning the nude swim on this forum. I don't think it's fair on the people who organise it or the people who enjoy attending it regularly.

We already know there are journalists from the tabloids using this site to look for info.

All it would take is a wee story in the paper about swingers using it as a meeting place to ruin a good thing for all the people who enjoy attending this event.

Bit of common sense needed.

The Venn diagram is very very simple.

Left circle = Naturists

Right circle = Textiles

Overlap = Swingers

The fact is swingers do not make up any higher percentage of naturists than we do textiles.

Mr Costa's posts on the subject read very creepy. That may not be his intent but it sure reads that way.

As to the posts about the attractiveness (specifically women) of naturists attending; I regularly attend with my partners and I find comments like that extremely insulting. We go for the swim and naturist environment and have had men banned for inappropriate comments and actions.
