If it wasnt in Edinburgh I would have been intrested.

Once was going to go to a meet in Edinburgh till I realised it would take 1 hour 45 mins to get there on train.

Things are taking shape. Some members

have added their profile and comments here and some have written in Private.

We will send out invitations at the end of this week and seek to balance the number of couples, number of men and number of ladies.

Wine and nibbles will start the day at around 1130 at the venue (TBA) but in the city. Finish 04.30

Fun will follow in upmarket surroundings

By way of incentive and as an act of chivalry, individual ladies will have no direct costs to pay, Gentlemen and couples will share costs equally.

These will be in the range of £15-£25 per man or per couple with indivdual ladies free.

The venue will be central, easily reached and as already said upmarket.

This particular meet has been clear from the start but I have attempted to take on board points raised by people

both in the form and in private.

People have a choice and this is how it should be. It may not be the way you want to do things. The snswer is very simple. Don't! It is all about choice.

After taking all _iews into account the meet goes ahead in the following format.

Venue: Upmarket Aparthotel in Central Edinburgh. Times: 11-4 Description: Nibbles, wine or soft drinks and chat. For those who wish, the facilities of the luxury apartment will be available for them to use.

No more public information on this particular meet will be given in the forum. Thanks for all of the _iews expressed.

Finally, I hope that having provided an opportunity for people to express an interest in day time meets in the capital that others will take the initiative and organise future meets in ways which suit their approacxh. One thing is for sure - I will not criticise. Another is - I wish you well

sorry but i dont think it has been very clear i know for a fact that some of your guests are taking this post as a social lunch gathering and others are up for the fun side of it and therin lies your problem i did comment earlier in your post but you decided to ignore and hope for the best people need and expect clarity if its a fun meet say that if its a social gathering for likeminded people again say that but there seems to be a massive gray area clear that up and then everyone knows whats happening wish you the best in whatever this venture is

But as the OP says, he has had lots of interest privately regarding this event.

Why would he feel the need to message us about the thread/event when we had previously shown no interest in it? We only said No thanks due to the day of the event.

There seems to be an awful lot of negativity surrounding this post. Am guessing from bitter folk who've not had the good fortune of an invite. Personally i'm really looking forward to it. I've checked the menus and thankfully they do bratwurst, which i'll discretely be sticking down my pants so i'm hopefully not found out on the penile sizing tests. Anyone for sausage?

I was messaged and I think the 'venue' has changed. I was informed it was a bring your own drinks / nibbles type event with fun afterwards if you so please ..so no lunch menu to select from .. and NO cost .. as so many keep mentioning.

I could be wrong though [maybe there are 2 meets on that day LOL] .. but think we need full clarification

There seems to clear guidelines or idea....

We will meet for nibbles and drinks in an upmarket apartment (on this occassion

rented) in Central Edinburgh.People will

have the opportunity to mingle and meet
