Edinburgh

Hurricane Ophelia is in its way... who thinks it's just going to be some heavy showers and a bit of a breeze ... nothing can compare to hurricane bawbag from a few years back

Nothing yet... think it’ll hit just as I’m walking into the office and carry me away. Drop off on Friday evening

There taking no chances here in Ireland

Yesday only 8 counties were on red alert then by 9 pm last night whole country was put on red alert

All School, college s crèches close

Bus eirann cancelled all transport

All hospital cancelled outpatient apps

Postal service cancelled

Dunes stores closed all stores

And many companies will remain closed

As they said on the news this is unprecided storm going to affect Ireland

Stay safe everyone - if you don’t have to go out don’t

LANARKSHIRE

All quiet, will wait and see what prevails over next 4 hours or so.

No severe weather warnings in my workplace (they usually do, if they anticipate any major disruption).

Going to miss the worst of it by the looks of it.

3 dead in Ireland shows it requires respect.

Awake most of the night out at 4am as my bike was blown over.
