Depends what you're into and how long you have:

Science museum, Buchanan Street (willow tea rooms is my brunch stop), cathedral, necropolis, Kelvingrove museum, botanics ....to name a few.

If you've got longer and drive, go to loch Lomond (balloch, duck bay, luss).

Football and salubrious hostelries await.

There is absolutely no way, NO WAY, how I can see this day possibly disappointing...

There's the botanic gardens at the top of Byers Road, Scotland Street School museum, Kekvingrove art gallery and museum, walk around the city centre and look at the buildings. Read the plaques on the walls and pavements. Take a tour bus around the city.

Endless possibilities.
