Can anyone suggest a good read. I'm never short of books but feel like I've forced myself into a bit of a "novel echo chamber" where I'm only reading the same author or "if you like... you will like..." type recommendations

Just recently finished reading all the outlander books... gutted when I went to buy the next one no 8 or 9 can't remember to discover it's still a work in process. I loved them couldn't put them down

Are they something a guy could read? I know there's a time travel and historical element but is it bodice ripping aimed at women style affair.

Set in 1800s

About a weird circus that appears overnight in places and the weird goings on

And a challenge between 2 stage magicians

A Decent Ride by IW isn't a bad book either. Currently reading The Bedroom Secrets of the Master Chefs again IW..panning out not bad and not written in Edinburgerees language.

I love to read but always go back to Michael morpurgo and terry Pratchett as I can read they're books over and over but I've recently read Terry Goodkind and enjoyed them.

The Eagle series of books by Simon Scarrow. Nothing however will ever surpass To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, an absolute literary classic.

Likewise, total letdown after all the build up when it was being released. Still was hard to better TKAM as Harper Lee had set the bar so impossibly high.
