when did the art of having a grown up conversation die out on fab?

more and more guys that message within 2 or 3 messages start bringing sex into the conversation..

now I know this is a sex site blah blah but can we not just have a conversation without talking about it??

I personally find it a huge turn off

guy messages and it looks promising then BANG,,,you feeling horny babe

The art of erotic seduction is far more exciting and subtle so I'd very much agreee

Good communication in general is a two way street and takes both parties... I kinda like the following quote...

You have two ears and one mouth for a reason, listen twice as much as you talk

I prefer sex to happen im not big into discussions about it. Sex if its going to happen should find its own way imo.

after 2 or 3 messages is not too bad. Quite often it's straight away. And then of course along the lines of:

I'd love to fuck your arse

I'd fuck you even if you had aids

Cum and go now

I sooooo want to eat that arse

Wish you were closer, really want to bang you

Actual conversations are rare. Which is probably not a bad thing. More appreciative of the hand full of people who realise it's not the "wanna fuck" attitude that gets them to meet people x

Yup we get it aswell, mostly starts off with I know you aren't looking for guys but here is my dick pic!

Ehhh sorry doesn't matter what size it is, we aren't interested in single guys.... fuck buddies or not

Conversations on here sometimes fail badly to the point it's not even worth replying at times.... sad but true

Can I copy and paste those in messages? They are better than the ones I use just now.

I'm a great believer that if you stimulate the persons mind the rest will follow . Unfortunately some think a badly written porn senario will do that . Instead they should find out about the actual person and not just what they want sexually . Smacks of wank bank material when ppl go on about the sexual stuff from the off .

Myself personally I don't think sex talk is a turn on unless it's actually between two people in surroundings where they are actually planning to lead to sex

We chatted a while back and it was normal nice chat if I remember rightly, maybe the bit of innuendo for a giggle but nothing overtly sexual (sadly hehe!)

Never thought about chatting, the whole concept is totally new to me.

I mean what do I say, where do I start, how do I gauge a reaction from someone when I'm chatting and should I have an encyclopaedia with me so I can try and make it intellectual

I've honestly found that quite a lot of woman that respond don't want decent conversation! Doesn't matter how hard you try to keep the conversation decent, I've been told that I'm old and boring! The art of communication is a skill that many people seem to have lost

I love a conversation and would only ever become friends with someone after a decent conversation,it's the only way to learn if you have a connection.I find it quite important and always worry about how I come across to others so would never dive in with a 'let's fuck'

I like to try and create a lasting impression that also leads to a normal long term friendship where possible

Yeah it's always the 1st impressions that stick in your mind about someone so I always like to get a bit chat going. You get a very good impression of someone from the 1st few messages which is why I always find them very important

Agreed but in our view Millenials are the worst offenders. We have a rule now when out with friends.....first one found on their phone for anything other than an emergency buys a double round!

Many women profiles quote "and before you ask, yes I'm doing fine and enjoying the site" ...

I do enjoy a good (non-sexual) conversation, as i can show off my intellect and wit but not all women can reciprocate. That's why i spend most of my time in the forums, hopefully i get noticed

I think the lost art of meaningful conversation is one of the clear signs of a hurried manic society!

Everyone rushes around in a hurry and wants everything now they arnt prepared to wait and infrequently prepared to put in the groundwork that forms the basis of a lasting friendship!

Swinging has various forms but I can't help but think for us the social side plays a huge role in the entire experience! If a person can interest you humour you and captivate your mind then it is far easier and more natural to feel attracted to them!

This for us forms the basis of all great experiences!!

If we wanted rubbish pickup lines or crass talk we would ask for it but because we can form coherent sentences and make pleasant conversation we are quite happy to leave that to task to those less refined

Although in the past I have been guilty of being over chatty and never actually getting to the swinging bit

Haha, not that HS2, the hugely priced and much maligned transport/vanity project that will be the crown jewel in the south's rail crown!

I already know where to go for my Fab H&S advice!
