Overnight, spare room or our bed?

Say you're a single man or single lady and you've been invited over to a couple's house for a little tomfoolery. You're all going to see a show beforehand so play's going to go on into the wee hours and morning sex is awesome, so you're likely going to stay the night.

I appreciate that everyone's different and offering him/ her the choice would be the best course here, but in case (s)he chooses one out of politeness what does the hivemind think preference would be?

Would you want your own space to breath out/ snore/ fart/ switch off and get a decent night's sleep in between times, or would you feel dejected and ostracized if you were punted into the spare room and you'd far rather curl up cuddled into the couple in their bed?

Depends on the couple hosting I'd have thought. It's your home and you've already invited the guy in to share the fun.

I'd always have the spare room ready to go, and would put that option out there soon as you've decided he's staying.

I think if you read the situation as play starts to wind down in the early hours, your gut feeling will point you in the right direction as to which bed th lucky chap gets to sleep in

I feel the couple's bed is theirs, and their sanctuary and time together. So if I was staying it would be the guest room. I don't stay over though

I would take the spare room but would probably hope that a wee tap on the door and an invite for more fun would result.

If not then that's cool too.

After all, it's their home.

Maybe I'm just a typical bloke!

Aviemore and regularly visit Glasgow

I think it's definitely sensible to have the spare room set up as an option. Then it would come to a natural conclusion either way.

I would definitely be taking up the offer of the spare bed, a little down time to relax and a snooze would be appreciated after any hijinx that may occur

It's good to have a spare room on offer, but also good sharing so everyone knows when the others are up for more tomfoolery
