Just a thought but have noticed so many women posting . Must be 8 inches or above must be buff must be over 6ft etc.

If a guy posted must be over certain height perfect body and big boobs he would get slaughtered on here.

Unfortunately due to female to make ratio women can be particular on here but seems double standards to me .

A guy could have an amazing profile, tick peoples main boxes, put countless hours into the forums, attend parties...you know, all that cliche crap that people spout here as "advice" for struggling guys. They could do all that "putting in" but nothing guarentees replies to mails. The cliche is the myth. You get what you put in? then why aint more guys "swimming in pussy" instead of moaning how they cant get a meet?

Not double standerds as guys can put any preferences on profile they wish . I'm 4ft 11 and chunky if guy wishes taller and slimmer then I've no issue with that at all and would wish them well . Normally it's only a problem for them AFTER I've turned them down lol.

Also let's be honest here a huge amount of guys (please note not all ) the only prerequisite they have is they get a fuck ! Lol!

Think we've went slightly off course lol I wasn't commenting on people's effort in profiles. It was the fact that women can be specific in exactly what they want and No one says boo. But if a guy said looking for a meet must have 36DD boobs and perfect body he would be branded an arrogant pig.

Unfortunately I think it's one of those subjects that there's no right answer to.

The attitude of some profiles can be very bitchy and aggressive in my experience

You can write as many personal messages as you like but 9 times out of 10 people go purely for looks

I never criticize anyone -male or female - for being specific in what they are seeking on fab. If they are fussy so be it. I always feel it is best to be honest at the end of the day and not waste anyone's time.

It only rwally matters if you give a shit about what others think about your stated preferences. I've been on and off Fab for many years and I have observed people trying so hard not to upset the apple cart and be part of the "in crowd" (dont care what anyone says it EXISTS). People dont like me or my views....tough shit you take me as I am or not at all! If I were you chief I would just go for it....cant be any worse for you than you have suggested it is currently so nothing to lose.

We are all here for our own reasons, to satisfy our own needs, explore etc... and that's cool with me!

What I have an issue with, however, and with both sexes is how the preferences are sometimes presented sometimes. But that's another debate

Not every guy is a player,not every guy is Shakespeare. I know I personally can get a better feel for a conversation when talking to someone rather than how they write a message and lets be honest here,how many times in your lives have you sent a message to anyone whether it be on here or anything else and its been taken out of context because its been picked up wrong by the reader?

I was about to reel off a list of cheesy cliches/quotes but even that is becoming somewhat of a cliche in itself.

There may be a case of that and I think you are right that the M/F ratio is a cause. For me the biggest problem though is trying to stand out in messages, etc. So many women seem to expect lengthy messages tailored to them when you've not met, you don't know what they like, what their personality is, etc, etc. Is this realistic? Are they not just setting themselves up for the fakers spinning lines and ignoring genuine people?

What do you and the forum think?

Not sure it’s about double standards. Male/Female attraction will always be about the X-factor. There is no hard and fast 100% rule… HOWEVER on here or in the real world there are some helpful generalities or patterns. Human behaviour works on patterns, for example if every person you met wearing a red jumper was aggressive to you then you would naturally be wary of people in red jumpers.

How do we apply this to Fab? I really think we all know that but here’s some thoughts, remember GENERALITIES there are exceptions!

• Men are IN GENERAL less fussy than women because nature built men to make babies and it built women to be picky because it’s her job to try and have a healthy strong baby to ensure the survival of the species. Watch any nature show for examples.

• Women IN GENERAL have more complex software than men… women are like the Iphone 7 – we need lots of updates, we sometimes do random things you don’t understand but we do look very pretty.

Men are like the Nokia 3210, solid, reliable and look a bit more functional.

• On Fab – women are way outnumbered but also in GENERAL men don’t understand a polite no thanks, or that a non response also equates to that. Now, perhaps animals mating rituals give us an answer for this folks, as females in the animal world often look very disinterested till the male courts her in just the right way. Nonetheless we are NOT animals and so women do get fed up with the ping pong responses to polite replies. It also results in the long list of DO’s and DON’Ts on profiles. Just to be confusing/confounding/annoying/female, sometimes we do respond to the right kind of attention though.

• On Fab – men are then annoyed at women getting all demanding and also at getting a non response. Their “Nokia” thought re the site is “Do you want sex or not”.

NB Women do understand that there are several annoying factors here for the good guys who make an effort.

This leaves us with some facts to consider on how either sex sifts out who is right or wrong for them in a meet.

• Supply and demand – women cannot satisfy the demand as there is approx 10-25 men to one woman (no we can’t just fit you in… that’s called a gangbang and YES you can have that, see meets and events).

• Often men think pestering politely is “chatting” NO it’s pestering. Women can be as bad. Both sexes need to learn the art of communication and seduction.

• Women often think they should get what or who they want by virtue of being women and in the majority NO men can be selective too and not all of them would just fuck anything. Both need to learn courtesy and accept they are not everyone’s cup of tea.

• Men often think it’s a sex site so “fancy a fuck” attitude is fine NO it isn’t though some might like it – good luck in your quest.

• Profiles need to say something to give us an idea of who we might like to contact. There are good and not so good profiles and that’s often due to personal taste – so contact the ones you like and ignore the rest.

I guess at the end of the day Fab is just life with some social restrictions removed – people are still people and like manners, a connection – whether it is NSA or not there has to be click of some kind.

The site gives you everything you need to navigate it and to attract someone you might like.

• You have a profile to showcase your personality and pictures or not as you see fit.

• You have rules and regulations enforced by moderators

• You have forums, chat rooms, events sections to further connect with like minded folk.

• You have a BLOCK button.

It’s more than you have in real life - That should be clear as mud, which is exactly how Mother Nature meant it to be… Would it really be so much fun if it was all straightforward???
