I genuinely don't have a problem with gay men. We're all straight, bi or gay, lead your life, follow your path, no issues. Sooooo, why do, literally, 10 times as many gay men look at my profile compared to women and couples?

For the simple reason that there are vastly more men of all sexualities on fab. It is statistically the case that this will happen.

If you apply the appropriate message filters, it will be "look but don't touch", and if they are only looking, what's the problem?

The way I see it, is that there is no harm in looking and that it is their time to waste!

If they message you, that's a different matter and yes, 'that' is frustrating.

Personally, I consider Fab like a big Menu. You like the Dish name, so you read the description and see if that's the type of dish you will fancy! If not you pass and don't order!

If you're going to put a pic on your profile. It's coming up in the Updates and if someone likes it. The only way to find out your sexual orientation is to check out your profile.

Once public your profile is accessible and visible to everyone unless you block them!

I have clicked on many profiles and am not what they are looking for! No offence was meant. But am not psychic. Unless I look and 'read' the profile I have no way of knowing.

But perso, I would focus on the people am interested in meeting.

Naughty Max hit the nail on the head. What i can also add is that about 50% of the intrest i get is from "straight" guys. So i guess alot of the guys out there are just out to chance there luck x x x

I think the OP is using the term "gay" to cover bisexual too. As a bisexual man, there's not much point in just being on fab guys, as there are no women, or MF couples.

No one knows your sexual prefrences unless they look at your profile .

If a gay or bi male is looking to meet then they will obviously check out male profiles and in that say you have a meet with a female then people are genuinly nosey and want to follow the verivication trail which in effect could lead them to your profile too.

Your profile is there to be looked at but you cant control who looks at you and who doesnt .
