Is it ok? I attended last year with partner and got to front door , there were a few old guys hanging about and it's looks terrible from the outside so we didn't go in

Most of Blackpool looks terrible from the outside.

You missed out, it's very nice once you get in with a bar and good sized social area next to a pool, hot tub and sauna. It was busy with a good mix of people both nights we went.
