Is anyone going along from fab?

Is it as popular as it used to be, I haven't been in years so really looking forward to it. I'm going on Wednesday 9 Aug.

I will be there several times as I never miss! Staying with friends and camping on second occasion as accommodation too pricey otherwise

Bigger and more popular than ever.

There has been a shift to more comedy over the last 30 years, it also got more commercial for a while, but there are now many free shows that have "a retiring collection"

Atmosphere is always great. Go and enjoy!

Usually they have camping out at ingleston showground....there is also a campsite at marine drive and another at frogston road....marine drive being closest to the centre followed by frogston road...ingleston is next to the airport and there ARE buses into edinburgh from Glasgow road or the airport itself... A taxi will cos approx £20 from airport to centre...£16 from frogston to centre or £12-14 marine drive to centre...all have bus links also...hope this helps.

That's right. I avoided the taxi cost though by taking my cycle..Good cycle paths in the area..Providing your tyres don't get stuck in tram tracks!

I go several times every year. Love the free fringe and have found some real gems.

It might be an idea for a FAB fringe social so people could meet other FAB members (no pun intended) and share some interest's. What happens after the shows is down to those attending.

Tattoo tickets need to be bought in advanced. Hurry up guys as it is sometimes difficult to get tickets.

Accommodation is also very difficult to find sometimes and quite expensive too. No idea about camping though.

Text me if you have any problem. I might help ...
