Not find it strange a Lot of profiles been on over a year and not Verified!

Nope.

As a couple we joined, had a bad experience and hid our profile after a couple of months.

More than 6 months later we decided to actively start trying to meet again but took it slowly to ensure meeting the right people, which took another few months. By time we met and gained a verification we'd been on over a year.

Now if a profile is on over a year and still has no pictures, not verified and the profile says "fill in later" it's safe to say they're likely to have no interest in meeting.

We joined and weren't very active on it for over a year before we decided to meet. In hindsight we should have set up a new profile as people thought we were time wasters so ended up going to CJ's to meet people and get verified. So there are some exceptions to the rule.

No,there are many people on fab,just here for chatting,keaping up with people and having a laugh in the forum,these people are genuine and could have been here for years,they don't need to meet it can be an escapism for them to enjoy...they don't have to meet,there is no obligation to meet.its when these people start getting abuse and shit,just because somebody has taken the hump,for being rejected and told no,that's when the genuine are then labeled as time wasters
