The stock standard reply to this is......why write a well composed msg for it to be ignored and deleted time after time.

Or for the reply to a cpl of paragraphs of text...... thanks does my ass look big in these

Well composed would be ok, the messages we are getting are not well composed.

I understand what your saying though there are three sides to a coin

I kinda struggle to see what the who ha is about. A msg however small unless smutty or derogatory shows an intrest in order to get a conversation it takes a minimum of two to converse.

so many folk demand a novelette before they consider whether to reply or not.

perhaps folk need to accept that folk look for diffrent things.

I msg nobody but build up conversations with folk over time. I also chose to ignore folk I deem unworthy to me.

Many see this as wrong hey ho I will get upset about that in the afterlife

Yes I agree, people that send you the exact same messages again and again, not taking the hint! It is soooo frustrating! Xx

My messages are generally a bit random, so cut n' paste doesn't work for me.

No-one is upset

A few of us here prefer not to receive copy and paste messages and that's what the sites tools are for, to out when it becomes irritating

I generally don't copy n paste either but have done once or twice, mainly after sending loads of messages and I start getting writers block.

I and probably a few of the males on here generally struggle to write more than a few lines on the 1st message due to various reasons but it doesn't mean we can't hold a conversation.

There is a bar that everyone seems to want but sometimes it's not possible.

C'mon men, think of something original in all the hundreds of messages you post every week or so to try and elicit a meet.

Can't be done, can it?

"C'mon men, think of something original in all the hundreds of messages you post every week or so to try and elicit a meet.

I generally find it hard to come up with original messages to send to women or couples as I just end up complicating things by going over and over the message in my mind. Because of this, I sometimes never end up sending one because I think no matter what I right, I'll get nothing back. With all the messages women/couples receive they will have heard everything by now. Anything I say wouldn't be very original.

It is hard to gauge what intensity of message you should send e.g. Dirty, funny, polite, etc. and where in the scale of 0-100% it should be. When I message members, I tend to be polite and talk to people as if I was meeting in a club or bar, etc. Yet, I still don't receive any messages back and they get an instant delete.

What would you consider an original message? An honest question here.

You're proving my point, I was answering the OP's post with the deftest of sarcasm.

As you put it, they trundle through loads of messages every day and probably most are them are the "wanna fuck" type, but there'll be others with a little more decorum and originality that could tick every box. Only problem is, they seen them all before, but the point I'm making is that you can't really blame people for sending out cut and paste messages sometimes. They do message a lot cos of the very small chance of getting a reply never mind a meet, so maybe thinking that sending out lots of those type of messages will boost their chances. Hope springs eternal.

Who knows, they may be funny and well written.

As to what I think would be an original message?

Haven't a clue mate. I talk a load of shite, as you can see.
