Guaranteed it's not because of the weather. That will be the official line so the promoter can get his insurance to cover it. Will be a production issue. 110%.

Raging I feel sorry for any folk that came a long way and paid for hotels etc.

Somewhere nearby

Inexperienced local crew employed by the promoters, equipment left out uncovered in the rain, stage not nearly close to being set up and generally the promoters being useless cunts, from what I've seen.

I'd be raging. The promoters are getting roasted ( and not in a good way!) all over Facebook/Twitter/Insta.

Virtually what I read earlier on twitter, shame on the poor people that have travelled/booked hotels etc

Couple of friends got the train through this morning & had booked a day off work

U.K. Top green day tribute band being flown up to play at saint lukes tonight and it's free entry if anyone is in town and still want a decent night out

I know they wont be but the promotor should be liable for everything people are out of pocket not just tickets ... hardly seems fair that its their fault and the fans bear the cost of travel and hotels

Especially since an insurance company will probably cover the cost of the ticket refunds so pretty much the promotor wont lose a penny and will actually make more money when green day return for an alternative gig
