Curious if anyone, not just guys, have experienced this with a couple before.

So I got messaged by a couple on thu looking for a meet on sat. Discussions were going ok, But nothing was confirmed. No details made of where to meet or when. They even gave mobile number to call. I never called or made plans as work schedule meant I wasn't going to go anywhere on sat night.

I had messaged them to say I wouldn't be meeting but since they weren't online that often they didn't pick up the message till this morning I'm guessing. Can't tell as I'm blocked now.

So I login today to have a message saying I'm another bullsh*ter and they knew I wouldn't show and that they've named and shamed me...

I just laughed. Lol

I don't see anything wrong with what I've done as no arrangements were made, no confirmation of where or when.

Just wondering your thoughts?

As long as you let them know with a little bit of notice. Most people don't bother to let you know at all, so sounds to me you've done the decent thing here x

At a guess you agreed in principle to meet well thats what im taking from what you have written here.

if you had no intention of meeting why string it along not enough info in your post but thats what I take from what you have written

I had intended to meet, however I was asking questions and wanted to find out more of what they were looking for.

Since they were slow to reply these messages took longer than they needed.

However my work schedule got it the way.

But no time to meet. No place to meet was given. So how can someone say it was going to happen?

Could you not have called the mobile number ,that way no mis, interpretation would have arose maybe

Perhaps thats why they gave you a phone number......

alternativly they could be timewasters.......

so many possibilities so little info theres a reason I never post things like this I make my choices I decide what I want to do. I dont need tom dick or jemimas input if you feel you took the right course then that should be enough

I'd say if there's no date/time/place confirmed then it's not a definite meet, so don't see an issue.

Yes you intend to meet but until details are confirmed it's not in the diary. Doesn't mean you are a time waster!

If I'd been given a number, I'd have used it. If they don't reply then I've done all I can....

Just seems the way with some

I agree. If they gave you they're number, that would have been to move the conversation out of fab messages to mobile. If you didn't message or call them, that would look from their side as if you'd lost interest. Rookie mistake but no intent on your part

I got sent an email from a "couple" or rather a guy wanting to know if i would be willing to shag his wife at a hotel.

I was immediately suspicious as there were no verifications or photos.

I went along with it for a while but lost interest as I wasn't guessing any answers.

On the day of the supposed meet there was no messages so I went out. Came home to find a message had been sent at 22:30 saying they had arrived at their hotel.

Draw your own conclusions.

Some couples take a long time to find a suitable guy that meets their own criteria. Sounds to me you gave all the signs you would meet right up to the point where they trusted you by giving out thier number. You then blew them out for whatever reason and NEVER even messaged an apology BY PHONE to show you were genuine too by revealing some personal info ie your number. You say it was work , that happens, BUT when you knew your message on Fab had not been read, why not drop a brief txt message. 2 sides to every story.

That's what I was thinking, they put themselves out there giving you their number, and you didn't use it, which would appear to be a snub, whether you meant it or not

OP if there was no defined meet arrange I don't think you did anything wrong, BUT if they gave you number then maybe it would have been politeness just to send a txt message saying still interested but work is busy so can't at mo, or thanks for number but I'm not interested/very busy and can't make arrangements.

Either way seems to have been crossed wires and it's probably best left and let them get on with it

I was still asking questions and wasn't entirely sure of the couple. I don't give out my mobile number so easily just to anyone.

I think basically "trust no one" is the just of it.

This place cracks me up. I've literally been blocked in the last few minutes by an alleged couple that had a meet posted.

They friend requested me recently and they have a "meet today" on profile.

It's normally water off a Mallards back but I'm totally fed up with the childish and downright cowardly behavior of some.

Get over yourselves. If I'm not needed I can hack it....

Have said it before and will say it again , some people on Fab use the block button as a filter. If you have spoke to someone and seen thier picture and decide they are not right for you then a polite no thanks message and i emphasize Polite. Then use the block button so that in 6 months or a year you are not repeating the excercise all over again. If we get blocked by someone we would say ok its thier loss, certainly wouldnt be stressing about it.

Fair point. They have no pics on profile, have "meet today" on profile every day and when I politely enquired I got a one word answer.

My piss was boiled by a status update slagging "two tossers for ruining it for the genuines on Fab"

Probably got a face like a welders bench.
