I had a meet on fab a few years back, she was a lovely girl, attractive and a very naughty mind. All was going well on the first meet and we leaned in to kiss, then I got the whiff. Smells don't usually bother me much, but the only one that gives me the boak is that smell of chronic gum disease. I'm a dentist and can usually smell it from someone as they walk in my surgery.

I didn't catch the smell till our lips were about 2 inches apart! It would have been rude to back away from the kiss at this point but I was suppressing a wretch with that particular smell, panic set in and my only solution was to kiss with tightly pursed lips and nostrils pulled closed. Crappy technique but it was all I could think of.

Made some excuse about having a post nasal drip making me gag and not wanting to give her my cold.

From her point of view she probably thought I'd no idea how to kiss, so no surprise she we didn't have a 2nd meet
