Hiya.... we set one up to take the payments for the social (already had one but wanted it seperate)

Need an email address (best not to be hotmail as stories of them been hacked recently)

Bank account

Thats it.

Once set up, they send a small amount of money to your bank account, you tell them what it is after a couple of days and then your account is verified.

You can set it up so you have to have your mobile phone nearby to login (they send a unique code to your mobile every time you login and you need to enter that on your PC).

It is quite easy really.

Hey,

No need to put money im the paypal account, when you pay or send money, it automatically takes it from your bank account (if you have funds). You can also add a credit card so that if your back account is lacking on funds (as are so many peoples these days) instead of cancelling the transaction, it will take it from your credit card. Thats optional though.

Obviously, you need paypal to use ebay, so if you start to sell on ebay then payments go to your paypal account. You do get charged on this though.

If you are just transfering money from you to another person (no goods changing hands) then click the personal tab and then select gift.
