I love the feel and smell of a proper book. Nothing like relaxing in the bath with a book and a beer.

Prefer books. Only ever buy the e-version if the physical one is out of print.

Still kinda old-fashioned in that I prefer the physical copies of things, so books, comics, CDs, DVDs and Blu-Rays.

Love books. Particularly the ones you start and you can't put down or can't wait to pick up again when you have a break.

My all time favourite book is 'The horse whisperer' which is also a brilliant movie. (Not often the case when a movie really represents the book's spirit.)

I also like the Scarpetta, medical examiner series by Patricia Cornwell.

And no, I cannot focus on any type of books if I can't feel the page, turn, go back etc...

Shame, that in this modern day, the schools use digital copies for some subjects! You want the hard copy, you buy the book or you print it.

Got a kindle a few years ago but its seldom used after the novelty wore off. Its great for holidays rather than taking a pile of books.... but much prefer the feel of a book in my hands.

I dont have a favourite although there are a few ive enjoyed reading more than once.... but love a good murder/ mystery/ detective/ crime book.

Used to be an avid reader and usually crime/thriller books - easy reading to relax

A friend on a long haul trip with me once said travelling with me was like travelling with 'The British Library' as I dragged around a holdall of books

Easily do a book a day on holiday but rarely read at other times now

Have an e-reader but really only use it when on holiday. I like police crime novels, Rebus, Skinner etc.

I remember buying a book of his novelletes on holiday one year and out of that spanwed the shawshank redemption, the green mile, dolores clayborn, stand by me. And i really loved IT about the scary clown. The film version was shit though.

Been a few years now but used to work in Waterstones. I swear half my wage went right back to them.

American Gods is is probably my favourite book(soon to be tattoo)

House of holes is a good read if only for the weirdness and use of language.

I still like a book, (currently on book 5 of game of thrones), however a kindle is so convenient especially if you're flying or buying abroad.I find reading via the kindle app on my phone doesn't get me hooked - too many small pages I reckon. Mind you, have'nae found much porn in the kindle store.

I'm a big fan of Carlos Ruiz Zafon, especially his "Cemetery of Forgotten Books" novels. Even his YA books are a great read. I'm off on holiday next week, and one of my books will be "The last Four Things" by Paul Hoffman, which is also part of a series, called "The Left Hand of God". It's a post apocalyptic story about a world dominated by a religious order, a bit like the Spanish Inquisition, with warrior monks. It's gripping stuff, and deserves to be better known.

Purely because I love the smell a lot of books have, and if I can't turn pages, then it doesn't feel right x

After years of procrastinating I gave in and allowed myself to be given a second had ipad lol

Now I don't know why I resisted for so long lol,

new books at the touch of an app,

increase the text size at the swipe of a finger,

takes up hardly any room in your bag

read in bed without having a light on annoying the other half

All that and... you can have a sneaky peek at fab too lol

P.s.....The Clovenhoof Series, just brilliant and laugh out loud at times

I never read novels(despite my creative side,I'm visually stimulated so books do nothing for me)..the last books I bought were the illustrated brief history of time and the physics of star trek..

I'd happily just have them electronic
