Log cabins or cottages

Any recommendations

Looking to book a log cabin or cottage for a long weekend in July. Would like it fairly secluded as we plan on having a small party maybe around 10 people. Ideally it would have its own sauna or hot tub.

Some of the ones we have seen have been ridiculously priced so something reasonable.

Ooh I will keep an eye on this thread.

I was actually speaking about this to friends couple nights ago and looked at a few sites.

'Groupon' was mentioned but I didn't see any deals in Scotland.

All the ones we've looked at in Scotland have been ridiculously priced... you should speak to V from boobsandballs as they've had quite a few successful lodge party's with large numbers

You are actually cheaper going abroad than paying for some of them x

I was at piperdam in Dundee and you can get various different types of lodges there. I think the rainbow lodges are the cheapest there. We stayed in one of the executive lodges and it had 3 bedrooms all en suite a sauna and a hot tub. The lodge itself was lovely but for things to do around Dundee I found that boring as was not much. Hope you find a good deal

Have you tried the Forestry Commission, no idea of price though and there is also a place with a hot tub in/near Linlithgow but again unsure as to actual cost x
