FabSwingers.com forum: What does fathers day mean to you?

I would say today may play on peoples minds. I dont think about my father but when i do i remember the beatings whether with a belt, shoe or his hands. Happy fathers day not.

The good thing though is ive a great father son relationship with my son whose grown up. Were like mates.

I dont need a card or hear the word happy fathers day to know were close.

Fathers day for me is to show him just how much he means to me not just today but everyday.

Im very fourtunate in having a very loving caring dad who would do anything for his family.

We have a very strong bond thats only got stronger in the past few months and will continue to get stronger for however long hes around.

I find it very sad that some dont have a good relationship with their dads for one reason or another.

Im glad Op that you seem to have a good relationship with your son and you should cherish that despite what you went through with your own dad

Being grateful for having a great father when there's a lot of ppl who don't have one or even know theirs.
