What's happened here ive had more meets on POF for NSA in the last siux months than I've had in my whole time on FAB shouldn't it be the otherbway round ?

POF has more false profiles on it with guys saying they want a relationship when they really want is just to get the leg over, I met a guy once who wasn't even the guy in his profile picture and another guy who just lied through his teeth everytime he opened his mouth and single guys wonder why they get a bad reputation xx

Just because you saw women from here on pof does not mean they are using pof for casual sex or dont want to have a relationship ... as another poster above said maybe we are actually using the sites differently from each other ... pof for proper dating with the hope of meeting someone and fab for experimentation in the meantime (do we can be sure to let the new beau know what we like and dont

They dont have to be used mutually exclusively as long as you are honest with people about what you are looking for

Not just pof. Plenty others too. I did go on one and found it to be full of married guys cheating on their partners who had profiles stating they were "seeking a soulmate". Also many guys simply seeking NSA sex when they stated they wanted something serious

People are free to do whatever they want. Personally from experience pof was an endless line of sexy interesting and smart women who wanted a good time. It was ace. If I was single I'd be on there. I have no idea why single straight men come on here for 1 on 1 sex.

Plenty of guys and gals use pof for nsa. People can put it on their profile that they aint look for anything serious. It aint always the case that a gal has been duped by a liar. Yes it happens, but pof lends itself to nsa by profile info quite clearly

I dont think in this day and age its necesaary though ... women are more open about sex than they have ever been ... you dont have to pretend to be in love to get laid anymore ... im much less likely to sleep with a guy that i know is giving me patter to try get me into bed than someone who just says im not looking for anything serious if you are in the same position lets go for it

How many messages have you received today?

Compare with a guy who maybe, if he's lucky, gets one when there's a blue moon in the sky.

It's a numbers game, you have infinitely more options than any guy , he has to up his game, embellish some facts to try and get ahead of the pack.

Would be nice if it wasn't so, but after all its sex they are looking for and if they can't get it, then they'll pretend to be someone or something else to get it.

I think there might be more than a subtle difference between telling outright lies and making the best of yourself by accentuating features you like and covering up ones you dont ... that goes for both women and men

I had a seven year relationship from POF and we still keep in touch. Have had several encounters from other sites such as AFF CS and ALT and from here and yes I am still friends with all. Respect is a two way street and if you treat someone as you would like to be treated then it deserves to be reciprocated. I would probably start by removing the girls from my pics before telling fibs if i was you

At 41 we assume you have by this point inyour life had a bj ... the photographic evidence is not usually required and pictures of you with a woman is probably partly to blame for putting other women off i would guess

Women and guys are on Pof in equal numbers for casual fun. If females want a relationship on Pof all they need to do is ask to meet a parent of the guy after a few dates or get a home phone number. Any guy cheating will never do either. Also if they are so keen on a relationship why have sex after a few drinks . Its only going to lead to disappointment. Sry but women or guys cant complain about married people using Pof when it is so simple to find out the other persons real intentions.

I am on POF as well. Had a few meets from it but it is as frustrating as Fab.

Last lady from POF sent me a photo and said she was 52. I thought she was referring to her age but it turned out to be her waistline.

The last 3 meets from POF I have not recognised the person as their appearance differed so much from their photo.

At least my photos are recent so you know what you are getting.

I'm seeking something substantial, Happy to admit it but with very little effort I'm in double figures this year alone from POF and Tinder with ladies "who aren't just after a shag"

Hey it was supposed to be lighthearted humour. Didnt realise this place gave licence for public linchings. If there were more genuine easygoing folk on fab people wouldn't get so uptight, aggressive and reactive. No, POF is mainly free and there is an enhanced package which works out about £80 a year which is peanuts compared to Match and Elite.

Just as many timewasters on all sites. Seems to be a problem no matter what site you are on.

This place has something for everyone or at least that's the idea right? Open minded people wanting to experiment and meet others with a similar outlook. Maybe I'm naive but what's there to lie about? If you're married then just say it and I'm sure there'll be someone else in a similar situation looking for whatever you are? I'm not judgmental. Being dishonest just makes you look like an idiot and nobody wants to meet one of those. Some females on POF put that they're just looking for fun and guys too and there's no harm in that as long as it's appropriate to the site. Honesty rules! We've all got lives outside POF and fab and nobody likes the excitement of a meet being ruined by some random who isn't who they said they are
