I'm seriously contemplating buying a hot tub

A. Does anybody have one

B. Does it just sit there or do you use it regular

C. Are they expensive to run

D. The tub I'm buying is 6k but I've seen them on the internet a lot cheaper?

HELP !!

Love them. If I had one I'd be in it every day as they are awesome for joint pain and relaxing.

As for price? Definitely shop around. You'll be surprised and don't go for the first thing you see.

Maybe think about a cheaper one and a summer house to put it in. That way you can use it all year round.

And make sure it's a great cover. Helped keep the heat in and the running costs down

Make sure you can get it into your back garden. I seen one today sitting on a guys driveway of his new house as he had no way to get it round the back.

Surely it's a simple fence removal and turn it on its side? Lol

(Can you tell I've delivered one or two )

That's not possible as his only fence is basically a gates width . He asked the site agent the next time a crane is on site if they could lift it over for him. Was quoted 450 quid so it'll stay on his driveway

ive got one....its amazing.

costs go like this...electricity costs about 5 -10bucks a week, maybe a bit more if its a cold winter..chemicals about 30 bucks every 3 months give or take....best advice i can give is read the manual from cover to cover..the water treatment can be a bit tricky at first..little tip you can use bicabonate soda to raise the ak levels in the water.its much cheaper than the chemical they sell you to do it.and i think it works better..always heat the water before you put the chemicals in

we tend to use ours mostly at weekends

i enjoy it more in the winter than in the summer

2 or 3 christmas's ago i sat in the tub with a bottle of champagne whilst the snow pelted down..was awesome

Just make sure your electrical supply can cope with the extra 50A supply required to run it
