I on rare occasions have had similar usually it's about the death of someone I care about and wake up and I have been crying in my sleep. It's really unsettling hope you have shaken the feeling off.

I'm also lucky as 99% of the time when I dream it's lucid and I have full control

I hate vivid dreams! The good and the bad ones, when the feeling transfers into your waking life. It's unsettling. Don't like it

Big hugs Che xx

I always think dreams are your brains way of processing some problem you're struggling with. Is there a person or situation you're grappling with but can't find a resolution to the problem. Perhaps you feel they have the upper hand and your powerless to express yourself or act???

Haha me too, Rouge. You must be the pea next to me in the pod lol

I wrote an essay once about the interpretation of dreams/Freud. Very interesting stuff.

Unable to speak and speak loud is indeed a situation that you don't like but you are not expressing your feelings about.

I believe the books you speak of are dream interpretation books which are kinda one in the same as the scientific books I refer too.

when the concious mind cant deal with something it hides it in a "box".

The sub concious mind plays by diffrent rules and can do anything and will jumble it up to try and give the concious mind a better insight into the problem unfortunatly alot of the time it just causes more problems

I dreamt last night that I won a trip to some theme park with my daughter, my ex, his parents and my sister.

My sister had to take her luggage everywhere with her.
