Falcon43 and I got chatting and wondered if any other fabbers fancied a social group for evenings out at theatre, comedy, live music in Glasgow and surrounding areas?

Not so great on our own so for any of us perennially singles could be fun? Would that be ok ?

A good idea

However for me, it would depend on the group.

As I have seen at a few occasions in public places, some people can't behave in a proper manner when amongst swingers and it just ends up being embarrassing.

That would take the fun out of it for me.

Hope this makes sense. But a great idea

It's really only meant for two or thre people to buddy up to go to the theatre or cinema or a gig. It's not meant to be a group social.

I'm sure most of us can behave in public. Some people like to knock a good idea before it's even started.

If this comment is for me Falcon.

The original post said 'social group'. So, I gave a comment with that understanding.

I do think it is a good idea and I was not knocking it in anyway, I was just giving an angle on the OP's question.

The 'social group! just meant those that may want to go with someone to the show or film. It didn't mean that a group of us meet to go although that may happen. Just to clarify. Not meant for anyone in particular.

If anyone has a show or a film they want to see maybe they could post it here and see if anyone else wants to go too?

Well contrary to Falcon I love horror movies. Like _eiaorgana I like my geek too so anything comic book or steampunk, gothic tends to be up my street.

There's mini musicals at oran Mor as part of their play a pie and a pint events (which I've fancied but wouldn't go alone)

Theatre wise upcoming there's

The crucible (on now and I already have plans )

A judgment in stone (Ruth rendell)

Dirty dancing

Bard in the botanics

The carpenters story

La cage aux folles

The curious incident of the dog in the night time

A streetcar named desire

Blood brothers

Our house

La traviata

Greg Davies' new stand up show

The stand comedy club has different acts every night.

"Falcon43 and I got chatting and wondered if any other fabbers fancied a social group for evenings out at theatre, comedy, live music in Glasgow and surrounding areas?

Not so great on our own so for any of us perennially singles could be fun? Would that be ok ?

"

Would be a nice way to interact with theatre go-ers often check out whats on in both theatre royal and kings theatre.

Wouldn't mind a decent show/ballet/opera
